Last nite was great! We played really well, considering we hadn't jammed in like two months. And it was more like jamming in front of a bunch of people then an actual "show". Really fun! We played pretty early, since sean had to be back to work at the attic, so some people missed our set, but thanks for coming anyway. We have a show coming up on th 16th that should be killer!

Things have been pretty good lately. Nothing fundimentally has changed, really. Work becomes more tolerable when they give you a raise. And we're starting to get gigs again. And sean's new work status should make it easier to jam. Can't wait to get started on the "newer" new songs.
I'm just in a really good mood of late.

Mind you, things are faaaar from perfect. My apartment is in desparate need of a cleaning that i continue to start/stop on. And there are certain things that need dealing with, where my patented technique of not dealing with it has just made things worse.
Vague? Yes.

So to sum up:Feeling good.Things still need work. What else is new?
Going to the pavillion tonite to see oh god. you should go too.

We're playing tonite at the seahorse, sometime between 10:30 and 11:30.
We haven't jammed i a while so it should be interesting, to say the least.
I will warn you, though, it's gonna be a really short set.
But if you don't feel like watching the Rheos, or want something to do before the Rheos, by all means come by!

So, me and beardo went in through "the atrium" entrance to "the dome", since the bouncer who says i took a swing at him wasn't there. Got in. Took off my glasses. and i had shaved off my beard. I figured if he was looking for a guy with big red hair, glasses, and a beard, then getting rid of two out of three would give me a chance.
I was still paranoid as hell.

Nothing happened.
And i had a fucking great time!!

All three bands (Rock Ranger, Heelwalkers, C'mon)were awesome! I was right up front for C'mon, it was so great! Katie (bassist) leaned her back towards me and it was like "Yes!! Rock n' roll!!!".
And i was sober to boot!

And i picked up the C'mon vinyl and cd for $15!! And i talked to some people who i haven't seen in a while (it's been a while since i've seen mike morrison that drunk).And it was just a great time!!!

You know, i really don't have much to report.

The wedding last weekend went fine, except that they had it outdoors and as soon as they said "i do" it started downpouring. Spent a lot of time with my cousin denny, who basically looks like me except with short black hair (that's starting to go bald, heehee) and a goatee. He was born a week after i was, so we talked about the big birthday coming up and blahblahblah. We both agree we should try to grow up. We both agree that it's never gonna happen.

This week's been pretty uneventful. Good show last nite at the attic, though. Special Noise, Radarfame, and the Burdocks were wicked.And i got a little drunk, which was good. I can deal with "a little drunk" when i have to work at 7 in the morning.

Going to the Seabass's b'day party tonite. I plan on wearing a suit, drinking wine, and, more than likely, bleeding.
And adam, like i told ya last nite, i got a bottle of champagne with your name on it. Happy birthday.

I kinda miss when i used to do this on the spincycle site and not even think about who would read it.
Maybe i'll write something more substantial tomorrow.
