Ok, this could possibly bew very long and boring.

I went to Gus's and finished that song I was working on. All i had was the first verse and the vague idea of the melody. But wow, it just came right out. It always freaks me out when that happens. And makes me happy. I really like it too. Or at least i do now, maybe in the morning i'll hate it. But it's got this quality to it...it starts off all pretty and hopeful and then BAM! hits you in the gut! And yes, it is a folky-type one. And there's a story to it. And i don't mean that it's based on anything, just that there's a narritive. Although i had to abandon the rhyme scheme at points in order to accomplish the storytelling, but it doesn't interrupt the flow of the song. It's good to have structure, but holding steadfast to it can do more harm than good. So, yeah, i really like it. Should have no problenm having it up for sunday, unless i start playing nopron again! Ha Ha!
